TitleInvestment Operations Associate
Our client is a SEC Registered Investment Advisor focused on building global, multi-asset class investment portfolios for individuals, families, and non-profit institutions.
The firm is seeking an Operations Associate to join their NYC team.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with internal groups to complete client onboarding, counterparty applications and various forms
- Obtain all necessary approvals and ensuring all client documentation is returned, completed and approved
- Validate client documentation for consistency and completeness
- Preparing private investment subscription documents and redemption requests on behalf of clients
- Facilitate collection of KYC/AML documentation and review current client files for completeness
- Liaise with fund administrators and counterparties on client AML and KYC requests as needed
- Maintain employee training materials and standards, as well as deliver training to new hires
- Ability to proactively contribute towards continued improvements in control and operational efficiency
- Effectively utilize systems, both internal and external, to perform job functions and maintain accurate records
- Maintain existing firm and regulatory policies and procedures. Identify, recommend, and implement new policies and procedures as they become warranted.
- Assist with special projects as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with strong academic track record
- Must possess excellent computer skills and be proficient using Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Dedicated work ethic and strong organizational skills
- Willingness to work extended hours to meet project deadlines
- Desire to work in a collaborative team-based culture
- An ownership mentality with a desire to continually develop and learn
- Ability to adapt to changing environments through continuous learning
