Office Manager with light administrative duties
Our client, an asset lending manager, is looking for an Office Manager that will be the face of the firm for all visitors and assist in the support of the investment team with light travel and expenses. POSITION: Office Manager with light administrative duties
LOCATION: New York, NY
HOURS: 8:30am – 5:30pm
COMPENSATION: 120k-160k base with excellent benefits
BACHELOR'S DEGREE: Preferred
*Please note that this is an office-based role, requiring onsite presence 5 days per week*
Responsibilities of the Office Manager with light administrative duties:
- Act as the main point of contact for the office (however you sit with the overall administrative team) responsible for welcoming guests, setting up conference rooms, and arranging catering
- Run point with the building communications, vendor access, and visitor lists
- Handle office logistics, which include managing inventory, supervising vendors, and performing necessary errands
- Preparing expense reports, liaising with the IT vendor and ad hoc projects
- Assist the investment professionals with scheduling events, calls, meetings, and travel arrangements
Requirements of the Office Manager with light administrative duties:
- At least 5 years in a similar role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professional sensibility and disposition and an inherent understanding of office culture/professionalism
- Ability to interact calming and courteously with internal and external parties
- Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly under pressure
- Experience in managing calendars and scheduling logistics
- Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and workload
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite and Concur
- Verifications of identity, education, prior employment, and references may be required
