With multiple funds raised and a portfolio that includes several high-growth companies, the firm is dedicated to identifying and supporting the next wave of innovative startups.
Position Overview: Seeking an Investment Analyst to join the team in Los Angeles. This role offers hands-on experience in venture capital, including deal sourcing, due diligence, and investor relations, with direct exposure to investment partners. The position is based in Santa Monica and requires in-office presence five days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and analyze potential investment opportunities, focusing on early-stage companies within the firm’s target sectors.
- Conduct thorough research, market analysis, and financial modeling to assess investment opportunities.
- Assist in preparing investor presentations, pitch materials, and fund performance reports.
- Work closely with portfolio companies, providing strategic insights and operational assistance as needed.
- Work directly with investment partners to facilitate the deal process and contribute to investment decision-making.
Candidate Profile:
- Open to recent graduates and candidates with up to one year of experience in an analyst role.
- Strong technical skills preferred (background in math, finance, computer science, or coding a plus).
- Entrepreneurial mindset, strong analytical skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-responsibility environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present investment theses and analysis effectively.
