Job Summary:
Our client, a $3B structured credit fund is seeking a dynamic and experienced VP/Director of Business Development to help growth the firms assets and diversify the investor base. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving capital, in support of the Head of Business Development. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in business development and a deep understanding of structured credit products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new sources of capital
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients
- Collaborate with investment professionals and effectively communicate strategies to investors
Qualifications:
- 10-15 years experience in senior business development role within the credit space.
- Strong understanding of structured credit products and market.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel as needed.
