TEMPORARY REMOTE HR Operations & Employee Records Coordinator
Our client, a healthcare based culinary startup, is looking to hire a REMOTE temporary (2-4 months) HR Operations & Employee Records Coordinator. The ideal candidate is HR savvy, detail-oriented, organized, aware of onboarding processes and procedures within NY State and have knowledge of NY State employment law and regulations. Prior experience creating basic systems and infrastructure for employee files, departments, HRIS systems, organization charts, HR Operations and Payroll (for non-union hourly wage employees) preferred.
This is a fully remote position with a RARE in office request. Please note that verifications of identity, education, prior employment, and references WILL be required.

LOCATION: REMOTE (with the rate occasional in person opportunity – (Long Island, NY)
HOURS: 20-40 Hours a week
COMPENSATION: $40-80 per Hour / DOE
BACHELOR'S DEGREE REQUIRED?: Preferred
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years of HR, payroll, HR operations, or employee records administration experience
- Experience maintaining personnel files and HR documentation
- Familiarity with payroll processing and/or working with a PEO environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential employee information with discretion
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Dropbox
- Experience with HRIS, payroll, or document management systems preferred
- Experience supporting hourly and multi-location workforces
- Familiarity with I-9 administration and employment record compliance requirements
