Office Assistant
Our client, a UK based Investment Firm is seeking an Office Assistant for their satellite office based in Chelsea. This is a great opportunity for a junior candidate to learn the ropes of a financial office environment. Please note, the role is in person everyday.

Hours: 9am-5pm plus light OT if needed. Fully onsite.
Salary: $70k-$80k base DOE plus benefits, 401k and 4 weeks vacation

Responsibilities
-Greet external visitors and prepare refreshments (coffee, lunch, dinner) as needed
-Plan regular and varied social events in addition to the annual holiday party
-Assist with London based HR team to set up new employees in the NY office
-Create expense reports and collate supporting documents
-Facilitate travel arrangements for the team
-Support additional office spaces and employees in New Jersey, Texas, and Miami
-Coordinate with global offices to prepare for internal visitors
-Maintain and update electronic and physical files for compliance and HR
-Liaise with building manager and engineers to ensure office upkeep
-Assist Partners, the Business Development team, and a handful of associates with ad hoc administrative support
-Answer main phone line and direct calls
-Order and maintain office and kitchen supplies
-Fax, scan, email, and shred documentation
-Arrange for messengers and FedEx service; prepare and mail documents (International/U.S)
-Assist with company errands (coffee, banking, post office, etc.)
Requirements
-1-3 years of Administrative office experience
-Punctuality attention to detail and organizational skills are vital
-Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are required.
-Knowledge of document management/archiving preferred.
-Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
