Multi-billion dollar New York based Private Equity Fund of Funds firm seeks Accounting Manager.
Qualifications
Manage day-to-day financial accounting and administration for private equity secondary fund-of-funds
Work directly with third party administrator on day-to-day operations
Prepare/review quarterly financial statements
Prepare/review journal entries and cash reconciliations
Maintain the books and record for the general partner entities
Assist with preliminary audit preparation activities
Assist with tax estimates and returns filings
Provide reports and support to controller and general partners
Conduct data reconciliations among accounting systems
Assess, organize and maintain accounting records
Provide general support to the accounting team as requested
Qualifications
4-8 years accounting experience, preferably in public accounting or fund administration
Private Equity experience a plus
Strong written and oral communication skills
